The 61st Annual IMTA Conference was held in
Tallinn, Estonia from October 7th until 11th, 2019
and was hosted by the Estonian Military Academy in cooperation with the
Psychology Service of the Estonian Defence Forces.
The venue was the Park Inn by Radisson Meriton Conference & Spa Hotel Tallinn.
153 participants from 31 nations enjoyed the full program with
four parallel tracks including 4 keynotes, 94 paper presentations, symposia
and posters.
The IMTA Steering Committee unanimously endorsed the nomination of
Dr Maria Fors Brandebo from the Swedish Defence University
for the 2019 Harry H. Greer Award.
The Steering Committee was very pleased to accept the
Romanian National Military Centre for Psychology and Behavioural Health
represented by Colonel Christian Dobre, Chief of the Psycological Division,
as new IMTA member.
The conference also included warm and well attended social events:
a ‘Meet and Greet’, the IBTA at the Estonian Open Air Museum
and the traditional banquet at the Seaplane Harbour.
Aarne Ermus, Inga Karton and their team did an excellent job to make the 61st IMTA conference a memorable one.
