This privacy policy sets out how IMTA uses and protects any information that you give IMTA when you use this website.
IMTA is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information
by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance
with this privacy statement.
IMTA may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to
ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from September 2011.
What we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Name, job title and affiliation
- Contact information including e-mail address
- When registering for an annual conference: expressed choices and preferences and contact details of a person to
contact in case of emergency
- When you submit a paper, poster or symposium proposal for a conference: the contact details of submitter,
author and co-authors (when you provide these)
- When you contact the webmaster, the conference team or the representative of a member organization of IMTA:
your contact details including e-mail address. If you choose to be included in our mailing list, you will get the
information mails about upcoming conferences
What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to manage the IMTA conferences, and in particular for the following reasons:
- To maintain an up-to-date mailing list only including people interested in receiving information about the upcoming conferences
- To reply to visitors contacting the webmaster, the conference team or the representative of member organizations
- To record presentation proposals for the next conference
- To record choices and preferences of participants to the next conference
When we e-mail you
When we send you an e-mail to keep you informed, that e-mail has two versions: a HTML version and a plain text version. If your
e-mail application (such as MS Outlook) is able to read HTML mails, the mail will include a link to 'unsubscribe'. Clicking the link
will bring you to the 'Unsubscribe' form where you can confirm your choice to no longer receive mails from IMTA

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have
put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
How we use cookies

is related to the protected pages of the website. The website has a number of 'protected' pages that only can be accessed by persons who received
an individual User Name and Password (member of the conference team or representative of a member organization). They can choose to login

automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking
full advantage of the website.

Our website contains links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note
that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information
which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look
at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question. This is of particular importance when you surf from our website to an online
payment website (when applicable). We always will warn you when you leave the IMTA website and surf to an online payment site. Our website will
never ask you any details about your credit cards other than the name of the cardholder (to pass on to the payment website)

you can uncheck the box 'Add me to the IMTA mailing list or update my data if necessary'
- You can omit completing the e-mailaddress field of co-authors when submitting a paper, poster or symposium proposal
for the upcoming conference
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you at any time by contacting us. If you believe that
any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any
information found to be incorrect
