The 50th IMTA Conference
Amsterdam, The Netherlands,
29th September – 3rd October 2008

Invitation to attend

On behalf of the organizing committee I am pleased to invite you to the 2008 International Military Testing Association Conference.

The IMTA conference is being held for the second time in The Netherlands. The Command Support will give its best in 2008 to host this event in Amsterdam, the 29th of September until the 3rd of October 2008.

We are honoured to be the host of the 50th conference of the IMTA. We will make sure this 50th conference is as interesting and enjoyable as the previous 49 were.

If previous IMTA conferences are a guide, we expect to have a large number of papers, posters and symposia.

Recognising the ever broadening role the human sciences play in enhancing the human dimensions of military capability and operational effectiveness, this conference will showcase the application of research in support of military organisations across the globe.

Following the IMTA tradition, subjects will include:

  • Testing
  • Occupational Analysis
  • Training Technology
  • Human Factors
  • Leadership
  • Manpower Trends
  • Organizational Behaviour

As always, the conference will provide inspiration from keynote speakers, showcase the latest innovations and research outcomes across diverse human science domains and enable the development of professional networks, foster new friendships and rekindle old ones.

Who should attend?

  • Military and Organisational Psychologists
  • Defence Scientists
  • Military Commanders with an interest in applied human science
  • Psychometricians
  • Human Science Professionals with an interest in Defence
  • Recruiting and Selection Specialists
  • Military Human Resource Managers
  • Manpower Planners

We hope to see you in Amsterdam!

Dr. Renier van Gelooven,
Director of the NLDSC Behavioural Sciences
